Mountains

Hi. 

My teacher the other week for our homework asked us to write a poem to go with the above picture. I chose to do an acrostic poem, here is my poem which I called Mountains. For those that don't know an acrostic poem is where the first letter of each line spells out a word, name or place or phrase when read vertically. 

Mountains rising up high,

Overlooked by fluffy white clouds,

Underneath the lapis blue sky,

Now this empty moat has been filled with fresh water,

Trees are now growing in this empty field,

A new life has been born here,

In this empty wasteland became a beautiful field,

New plants grow here everyday, 

Some endangered animals and plants now live in this beautiful field.

I did have another line for the letter S which was: 

 "Some deer are friends with me now and will be forever." 

What do you think of this line? Should I use it instead?
